Hey all, [Looks around], Nice shiny forum, I like it!!!
I've been working in VR, an enthusiast for about 4 years now, and take out my small PC and Oculus to community events and put people in VR (for free).
Having picked up a 3D 360 Vuze camera, I'm also creating some 360 content too.
Experimenting in Unity, is a great learning curve, and some of the projects are starting to take form.
So, how easy is it going to be for us enthusiasts, to create some experiences and knock the socks off those we put in the experiences.
1) How do / can we program the YawVR to move in the directions of say a 360 camera we film as it of was a paper plane (as we pitch the camera left ... the YawVR tilts left)
2) In say Unit or unreal, if we create a rollercoaster / path experience, same question, pitch and yaw, can we have a controller we'd move and record as a macro to playback the movements?
3) Looks like we can use a remote control to manually influence the movement, is that correct
4) Cable management, is the HMD's umbilical going to pop through bottom of the dome to stop heavy twisting.
Looking forward to start programming this beast and creating some experience to take people's breath away.
